Plan Your Intimate Celebration With Us

One Thousand Square Feet

of Open Intention.

The SkyHouse is built on a single discipline: remove everything unnecessary, and trust the location to do the rest. The floor is open. No permanent structures divide it. A thousand square feet cleared, arranged, or returned to stillness entirely depending on what the occasion asks — forty guests seated toward the mountain, a private dinner for ten, or something that has not yet been named.

Ferro-cement walls give the space its form. The same honest material used throughout Nandhi Sky & Soil: durable, quiet, four times stronger than the conventional choice. Plants are placed structurally — living edges that soften the architecture and carry the scent of the hill into the room. The Glass Garden restaurant and café share the same floor, separated by a single door. Arrivals, drinks, a meal before the evening: the transition was considered in the design from the beginning.

Every Gathering Deserves

a Sacred Skyline.

The SkyHouse is not simply designed to specialise in one kind of occasion. It specialises in occasions that deserve more than a hotel ballroom, a tent on a lawn, or a venue that requires the organiser to bring everything that makes it feel like somewhere. Here, the somewhere is already given. What you bring is the people.

Intimate Weddings & Celebrations

A wedding above an ancient city, with the mountain as the only decoration that matters.

The SkyHouse seats forty for dinner, or holds sixty comfortably for a standing reception — small enough that every guest is close to the moment, large enough that the moment has room to breathe. The ferro-cement columns and plantings frame the occasion without competing with it. Arunachala is already on the horizon. The rest is yours to arrange.

Sacred Evenings & Spiritual Celebrations

Witnessed from above the city —
As it deserves.

Karthigai Deepam, when the beacon fire lights the entire mountain. Full moon evenings, when Tiruvannamalai quiets to a particular frequency. Festival nights that have been observed in this town for centuries and deserve, at least once, to be witnessed from above it.

The SkyHouse holds these occasions with the seriousness they require — A space open to the sky, shaped by earth materials, set above a place that already knows what sacred means.

Private Gatherings & Milestone Moments

A celebration that does not fit neatly into any category.

An anniversary. A reunion. A celebration that does not fit neatly into any category but needs a setting that understands that. The SkyHouse can be configured privately, with access to the Glass Garden café for arrivals and to the restaurant for a seated meal before or after. For those who need the entire floor to themselves, that arrangement is also available. Write to us and we will design the occasion around the moment.

Ferro-cement is not a fashionable choice. It is an intelligent one. Four times stronger than conventional construction, it carries no pretension about what it is: a material that knows its own strength and does not need to announce it.

The SkyHouse is built from this logic throughout. The walls, the columns, the surfaces you touch — all ferro-cement, mud-finished where softness is called for, left raw where honesty is the point. Plants are placed at the perimeter and between structural elements not as afterthoughts but as decisions: living material alongside built material, each making the other more itself.

The floor is open to the sky. There is no roof above the main event space — only the altitude, only the air of Tiruvannamalai, only the mountain on the horizon doing what it has always done, which is to remind everyone in its presence that the occasion they are here for is real.
